Autumn Series - Yerba Mate: Culture, Connection & Shared Practice

Join us for an exploration of the South American tradition of shared mate.

Mate is a traditional beverage shared across several South American countries and holds a central place in regional culture. More than an infusion, it is a social ritual centered around the mate circle, a symbol of community, connection, and togetherness.

It is also an excellent alternative to coffee. Yerba mate provides sustained and balanced energy, contains antioxidants, B-complex vitamins, and minerals, and may support focus and digestion.

This workshop will be presented from an Argentine perspective by Carmin, born and raised in Buenos Aires, who aims to share not only how mate is prepared, but also its history, cultural meaning, and its power to connect people around the world.

Mate and Argentinian snacks provided.
